The center's collaborators
include:
-
The Duke Clinical Research Institute
-
The Comprehensive Center for Thrombosis and Hemostasis, a multidisciplinary initiative with representation from the Divisions of Hematology, Cardiovascular Medicine, Neurology and Departments of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Pathology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Molecular Biology and the Institute for Genomic Science and Poly
The center leads a National Thrombogenics Network,
known as Helix, which is assembling a database of 50,000 patients via a
nationwide network of anticoagulation clinics. Blood samples will be used to
conduct genomic, proteomic and biomarker studies.
