Our nuclear imaging laboratory is currently a core
laboratory for a sub-study of the largest study funded by the National Heart
Lung and Blood Institute (the Heart Failure Action Study).
Faculty research
interests include:
-
Combined myocardial perfusion and function with SPECT imaging and first-pass radionuclide angiocardiography to assess patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease
-
Diagnostic and prognostic utility of cardiovascular nuclear medicine in coronary artery disease
-
Pharmacological Stress Test and SPECT imaging for diagnosis and prognosis of patients with coronary artery disease
-
Evaluation of patients with ischemic heart disease using multiple imaging modalities: cardiac SPECT, cardiac PET, and cardiac CT
-
Combined assessment of myocardial perfusion, ventricular function, and coronary artery anatomy with PET CT
-
Exercise treadmill cardiac PET perfusion studies
