Our nuclear imaging laboratory is currently a core laboratory for a sub-study of the largest study funded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (the Heart Failure Action Study).

Faculty research interests include:

Combined myocardial perfusion and function with SPECT imaging and first-pass radionuclide angiocardiography to assess patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease
Diagnostic and prognostic utility of cardiovascular nuclear medicine in coronary artery disease
Pharmacological Stress Test and SPECT imaging for diagnosis and prognosis of patients with coronary artery disease
Evaluation of patients with ischemic heart disease using multiple imaging modalities: cardiac SPECT, cardiac PET, and cardiac CT
Combined assessment of myocardial perfusion, ventricular function, and coronary artery anatomy with PET CT
