The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine believes not only in practicing evidence-based medicine but also in participating in the clinical studies that help generate the evidence base. We enroll patients in single- and multi-center clinical trials, registries, and other forms of site-based clinical research.
In collaboration with the world-renowned Duke Clinical Research Institute, our expanding site-based research program is active in four areas:
-
Heart failure
-
Cardiac catherization lab
-
Primary and acute cardiology
-
Electrophysiology
